The Low Vision Symptoms Simulator is designed to provide users with a virtual reality experience that emulates various forms of low vision, including loss of visual field, central vision, visual acuity, distortion, patched vision, night blindness, photophobia, and reduced contrast sensitivity. This innovative tool seeks to enhance understanding of the visual challenges faced by individuals with low vision.

Low vision is defined as a significant visual impairment that is not correctable through conventional means such as eyeglasses or surgical procedures.
